Castle Howard is a jewel in north Yorkshire’s crown. Made famous by Brideshead Revisited, Castle Howard is famous in our family for its beautiful woodland – perfect for little explorers – and a brilliant adventure new adventure playground (Skelf island) that's suitable for all ages. The house itself is gorgeous and, although not suited to marauding toddlers, does have some hands-on activities for younger visitors. It’s a gorgeous family day out at any time of year – the setting is second to none and there’s plenty to do. Keep your eye out for some fantastic holiday activities for children, especially around Christmas, Easter and the summer holidays.
