Sad that York’s cosiest festive bar won’t be at the heart of the Christmas Market this year? Don’t be – it’s coming to a new, and much more exciting, location and we can’t wait. The team at Thor’s have announced that it will be setting up camp for the Christmas period at one of York’s most iconic spaces: York Museum Gardens!
Away from the hustle and bustle, but just a couple of minutes from York’s best shopping streets, it’s launching on 15th November 2023 and runs until 31st December. Expect roaring log fires, live music, delicious festive drinks and an atmosphere like no other. Food will be provided by YUZU Street Food – our favourite – with Yorkshire sausages and loaded festive fries both on the menu. There’ll also be delicious coffee and Italian fare by Ciao! As always, children will be welcome (and will adore the hot chocolate).
Opening times
Thor’s will be open in York Museum Gardens on the following days:
- – Monday to Wednesday, 12pm to 9pm
- – Thursday to Saturday, 12pm to 10.30pm
- – Sunday, 12pm to 8pm
