Exciting news, Gruffalo fans! Everyone’s favourite fearsome woodland creature is coming to Dalby Forest this summer! Dalby’s new Gruffalo Birthday Trail is already one of our top picks for the summer, but for the ultimate Gruffalo experience, head to the forest on Saturday 10th August 2024 to meet the legend himself. Throughout the day, you can meet the Gruffalo at 11am, 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.

Admission charges for the forest apply, but it’s free to meet the Gruffalo, and there’ll be a first-come, first-served queuing system. Visitors will be also able to take part in an extra dose of fun as they embark on a quest to find hidden Gruffalo character signs and enjoy Olympic-inspired challenges.
