When?
11th July to 6th September 2020
York's one of a kind archaeological adventure reopened to history lovers from 11th July. Kids get the chance to become trainee 'diggers' and discover the most exciting artefacts from 2000 years of York’s history, guided by friendly archaeologists.
You can still experience everything DIG has to offer whilst enjoying a safe visit with safety and hygiene policies that have been approved 'Good to Go' by Visit England. Pre-booking is essential, and available now online. Visitors can also read more about the attraction’s new safety policies.
DIG is a great experience for ages 5-12. Whilst they usually have a fun play area for under 5s, due to the safety procedures they currently have in place, this area is temporarily closed.
