Exciting news! One of York’s top attractions is about to get even better with the addition of a new play area. After a few delays, Yorkshire Air Museum has been given the green light to create a bespoke playground for children and it’s set to open this summer.
In keeping with the museum, the play area will be aviation-themed, with toddler-sized slides, wheelchair accessible roundabout and a Spitfire multiplay unit with slides, rope climb, monkey bars and two-way talk tubes to the ‘pilot’ in the cockpit. Keep an eye on our website and social media for all the latest and we’ll let you know when it’s ready for take-off.
