As lovely as the summer holidays are, they are expensive, so we’re really pleased to say that there’s a way to save money on days out in the weeks ahead.
Thanks to the government’s Great British Summer Savings scheme, some attractions are enjoying a VAT cut that they’re passing onto visitors. Some of our favourite places are taking part, making it a great excuse for a summer trip.

What is the Great British Summer Savings scheme?
The Great British Summer Savings scheme is a Government initiative running until 1 September. It temporarily reduces VAT on eligible visitor attractions, with the aim of making family days out more affordable during the school holidays. Attractions can choose whether to pass those savings on to customers, so participation is voluntary. That means some attractions have reduced ticket prices, while others have kept their usual admission prices.
