Set within the 220-acre grounds of Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate, between Harrogate and York, Chapter House offers a dynamic environment where children can learn, explore, and discover. Our school combines the intimacy of small class sizes with access to outstanding facilities, such as the 25m swimming pool, the King's Theatre, and QE’s woodlands for forest school activities.

Our curriculum is exciting and relevant, supported by a broad extra-curricular programme including activities, competitions, charity work, and careers learning. As part of a through school, we welcome children from 3 months to Year 5, with seamless transitions into QE’s middle and senior schools. Chapter House students are mentored by older children and join in performances, fostering a sense of community. We are proud of our Gold Artsmark and Primary Science Quality Mark, and our 'Outstanding (ISI, 2023) Queen's Kindergarten and Chapter House nursery is a Days Nursery Top 20 in Yorkshire provision.
