York is THE place to be with kids this summer! One of our top picks for kids is Piglets Adventure Farm, winner of the Little Vikings Awards for Best Attraction in 2023. This summer they’re really pushing out the boat, with more activities than ever before. As well as all the usual Piglets fun, from the adventure playground to the maize maze, indoor play barn to the manmade beach, there’s a themed programme too. What’s on at Piglets Adventure Farm this summer
Fairies and Trolls – Saturday 22nd July to Sunday 6th August – Add a sprinkling of fairy dust to your summer, as you enter the enchanted realm of the Fairies and Trolls. Wander deep into Fairy Wood to discover the magical new Fairy Trail. Find hidden fairy houses and listen carefully for the magical sounds of those who dwell in the woods as you pass by. But beware of those pesky Trolls! Within Fairy Wood, you are sure to meet some real-life fairies too. We’ve heard that Gelina Goldfinch and Hesta Honeysuckle tend to appear in the enchanted woodland every day. You can also join in with an all singing and dancing on-stage show ‘Once upon a Fairy-tale’.
Dino Adventure – Monday 7th August to Sunday 20th August – Let out your loudest ROARRR! Embark on a prehistoric journey to meet live dinosaurs as they stomp across the farm, experience a close encounter as you walk with the dinosaurs and hear them roar. Unearth the bones of a T-Rex or Velociraptor and find the buried treasure in the new Dino Dig and Gem Mining activity at The Beach. If you’re daring enough, approach with caution and learn how to train the most ferocious dinosaur in ‘The Raptor Show’.
Showtime – Monday 21st August to Sunday 3rd September – Piglets’ Summer of Adventure closes with a grand finale! Get ready for the greatest show with The Lunar Circus, featuring Fatt Matt. Witness jaw-dropping tricks and acrobatics in spectacular daily shows. Want to know the secrets of the Circus? Roll up for the Circus Workshop daily to learn how to perform thrilling tricks and stunts to impress your pals!
