If you’re looking for a magical family day out this May half term, there’s no place like Mother Shipton’s Cave. From 23rd to 31st May, the award-winning attraction is inviting families to step into an Emerald Adventure inspired by the timeless world of The Wizard of Oz and the spellbinding charm of Wicked. Expect woodland paths transformed with dazzling pinks, shimmering greens and enchanting surprises around every corner!
A Woodland Full of Magic
As you wander through the forest, you’ll meet a cast of magical characters including the mysterious Green Witch of the Forest, the radiant Good Witch of the Glade and a cheerful Scarecrow. There’ll be plenty of themed scenes, interactive moments and brilliant photo opportunities along the trail, so don’t forget your camera. Families are encouraged to dress up too, whether that’s wonderfully wicked, gloriously good or somewhere in between!
Beyond the half term enchantment, explore England’s Oldest Tourist Attraction, home to the legendary Mother Shipton’s Cave, the Petrifying Well, adventure playground, gift shop and scenic riverside walk.
