York Unlocked is a free, annual event that introduces the city’s residents and visitors to some of its most fascinating buildings and open spaces, from Terry’s Clock Tower to Bishopthorpe Palace (popular places, so book early). It’s taking place on Saturday, October 5th, and Sunday, October 6th, 2024, and loads of the city’s most fascinating places are taking part. Some tours need pre-booking, so it pays to be organised.
