Looking for something different to do with the kids in York this November? Aesthetica Film Festival brings family-friendly films, hands-on workshops, VR, games and interactive art to venues across the city. Children aged 7 to 14 can try filmmaking, coding, stop-motion animation or screen acting, while families can explore the free Immersive Media Arts Trail and UNESCO City of Media Arts EXPO.

There are screenings for different ages, so check each film’s rating before booking. See our guide to Aesthetica for families for the highlights.
