Make your own Easter card
Pick your favourite design and have fun colouring in your own home-made card to wish your family and friends a ‘Happy Easter’. (Self-led; Included in exhibition admission)
Heaven’s Big Secret: An Easter Story - Storytelling with local author Karen Langtree - Tuesday 7 April, 10:30-11am and 11am-11:30am
Discover ‘Heaven’s Big Secret’ as author and composer, Karen Langtree, leads us on a family-friendly storytelling session of the Easter story through two of heaven’s smallest but very curious angels, Alfie and Alia (Included in exhibition admission).
The Bar Convent at Easter: 300 Years of Preparation
Discover the preparations for Easter and how it has been celebrated here at the convent from as far back as the 18th century. Original diaries will go on display in the Exhibition and don’t miss a visit to the stunning Hidden Chapel during the Easter holidays. (Included in exhibition admission)
In the Garden - Spring Seeds
Spring into gardening this Easter! Re-use your empty cup from the café or pick up one of the pots to plant your own spring seeds. Who can grow the tallest sunflower or the most runner beans? Let them know by sharing your picture and tagging @Barconventyork to win a free family ticket to the exhibition. (Self-led; Free)
