Exciting news! Everyone’s favourite forest character, Stick Man, is returning to Dalby Forest! Families looking for a fun outdoor adventure – minus the moaning – are in for a treat when the new trail opens at Dalby. Inspired by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s much-loved picture book, this interactive trail will run from February 2025 to January 2026, and invites families to embark on a journey through the forest with Stick Man as he makes his way back to the family tree.

The Stick Man trail is packed with fun and engaging activities designed to bring the story to life. Along the route, families will discover nine interactive activity panels and six spotter panels, with plenty of opportunities for hands-on fun as you go. From building with sticks to learning about birds, nests, and forest wildlife, young explorers will be able to get stuck into all things nature.

To add to the adventure, families can buy a special Stick Man activity pack for £4 from Dalby Forest’s Visitor Centre. The pack includes everything kids need to create their very own Stick Man, as well as a sticker challenge.
