If you’ve got a Bluey fan (or two!) in your house, we’ve got exciting news: Bluey’s Big Play, the smash-hit theatrical adaptation of the Emmy award-winning children’s series, is heading to York’s Grand Opera House. It’s taking place from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 March 2026, and it’s going to be brilliant.
This is Bluey as you’ve never seen her before, brought to life on stage with larger-than-life puppets, original voices from the beloved TV show (yes, including Mum and Dad!) and a heartwarming new story penned by Bluey creator Joe Brumm. With music from series composer Joff Bush and plenty of interactive fun, it’s a show packed with giggles, games and family mayhem.
Since its premiere in Australia, Bluey’s Big Play has taken the world by storm, touring everywhere from the UK and US to Singapore and the UAE. And after a sell-out first tour, it’s back by popular demand. Expect music, mischief and the kind of joyous chaos only Bluey and Bingo can create.
