Exciting news for parents of little ones in York! There’s a brand new class in town, and it’s a really good one.
babyballet® York & Selby offers award-winning, fun and friendly dance classes for little stars aged 6 months to 6 years. Our magical classes introduce children to the joy of movement through music, storytelling and imaginative play, helping them build confidence while having lots of fun.
Our carefully designed syllabus supports the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), encouraging the development of coordination, balance, rhythm, counting and colour recognition, alongside important social skills such as sharing, listening and turn-taking. Using engaging props and our much-loved characters, Teddy and Twinkle, every class is packed with creativity and excitement.
Classes are led by Miss Jasmin, a trained dancer and former primary school teacher, who combines professional dance training with a deep understanding of early years development. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment where every child can shine.
