The dynamic film festival spotlights rising stars in the New Wave initiative and has a vibrant family friendly programme. We believe in the power of film to inspire the next generation by encouraging creativity. It is an important mechanism to develop media skills, confidence and digital literacy.
Your children will discover captivating stories in our Family Friendly screenings for ages 4-16. Invite your young person to discover new experiences in our Children’s Filmmaking, Gaming and Stop-Motion Animation Workshops. Transport the whole family to other worlds in our immersive VR and Games Labs. Family-friendly Film Screenings
Entertain your children with lively animations, engaging dramas and laugh-out-loud comedies. Meet intriguing characters, travel to breathtaking new worlds, absorb yourself in new stories. Screenings are split across three programmes to cater to different age groups:
– Let’s Play (4-10 years) – These films teach us that friends look out for each other, support each other, and above all, have fun together.
– Together Forever (7-10 years) is all about the bonds we build with those around us. This programme shows us that, even if our paths go separate ways, we know we can always rely on each other.
– Inner Strength (10-16-year-olds) explores curiosity and courage when it comes to facing our fears, overcoming obstacles, accepting change or finding your inner self.
