Bedern Hall is one of York's true hidden gems: a beautiful medieval hall tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Goodramgate, where families are welcomed. As well as being a popular York wedding venue, Bedern Hall is open to visitors. The team at Bedern look forward to sharing their eclectic mix of over 700 years of history. From songmen to squirrels, priests to pork pies, you can find them all in the hidden medieval hall!

There also happens to be a lovely little cafe as well: eat in the pretty little garden, out in the courtyard or inside. It's a short but sweet menu, with sandwiches and panini, soup, afternoon tea and sharing boards all on offer. Ingredients are locally sourced from quality independent businesses where possible.
