We make these with our children A LOT at Little Vikings HQ. Not only are they easy-as-pie to put together (easier, in fact) but they’re a good source of energy, really tasty and brilliant for packed lunches and picnics. Sometimes we add some orange zest or raisins, just for a change.
- 250g rolled oats (not the huge ones)
- 125g unsalted butter (and more for the tin)
- 90g golden syrup
- 70g light brown sugar
