As well as being a nice, easy activity to do with your kids over Christmas, these cornflake wreaths look great and taste good too.
- 125g Cornflakes (approx)
- 200g milk chocolate
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Sprinkles
- Line two or three large baking trays with baking paper or silicone.
- Break the chocolate into a microwaveable bowl and add the butter.
- Melt the mixture in 30-second bursts, stirring in between cooking. Stop when it's smooth and fully melted.
- Put the cornflakes into a larger mixing bowl, then add the melted chocolate.
- Use a large spoon to stir and coat all of the cornflakes.
- Take a glass (we used a shot glass) and create a ring of chocolate cornflakes around the rim. Make sure you use enough mixture so that it will stay together when it's set.
- Repeat until you've used all the mixture.
- Decorate with your sprinkles.
- Put in the fridge to set for a few hours or overnight. Enjoy!
