Lockdown 2.0 is over, and Beningbrough is open again for families around York to enjoy, with the gardens, parkland, play area, toilets and car park all available from Saturday 5th December 2020. If you’re after a winter walk and fresh air near York, it’s a great option for the weekends: winter opening times are 10am to 3.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and it’s also open on Monday 28th December 2020 and Friday 1st January 2021. You still need to pre-book your tickets though, so you’ll need to be organised.

New Beningbrough Peter Rabbit Trail!

There’s nothing like a trail to make a walk enjoyable for kids, and the new Peter Rabbit trail at Beningbrough sounds lovely. Pick up a trail bag (£2 per child – card payments only) whilst stocks last* complete with activity sheet, pencil, certificate, badge and play pack and get walking. Along the way you’ll find Beatrix Potter favourites, from Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle to Mr. Jeremy Fisher, Flopsy, Mopsy and Cotton-tail and, of course, Peter Rabbit himself. Hop to it!
