New exhibition: Winter Wildlife in Print at Beningbrough

We have friends who consider Beningbrough an extension of their back garden, visiting with their children throughout the year and seeing the seasons change. This winter there’s a new exhibition for everyone to enjoy: Winter wildlife. Taking inspiration from the creatures living in the extensive gardens, acclaimed Yorkshire artist Gerard Hobson has created fourteen sculptural scenes that you’ll find hidden among the trees and garden buildings.

Venture inside the bothy to watch a short film about Hobson, and pop into the restaurant to pick up a special colouring-in sheet (good luck resisting the lure of the cake display while you’re there). Inside the Hayloft you’ll find a display of his work, and you can even buy a print from the gift shop. Keep your eye out for special printmaking workshops with the artist himself, including a family printmaking workshop on Saturday 22nd February 2020 (£25 for one adult and one child; book on 01904 472014).
