York Pride 2025 – What you need to know
The countdown is officially on! York Pride returns on Saturday 7th June 2025, and it’s shaping up to be the city’s biggest celebration yet.
In 2024, more than 17,500 people took to the streets for a record-breaking Pride. This year, it’s set to be even bigger. As North Yorkshire’s largest LGBTQ+ celebration and York’s biggest free one-day festival, York Pride promises a bold, inclusive, joyful and unforgettable experience.
🎤 Main Stage Line-Up Announced
The 2025 Main Stage is packed with talent, headlined by the sensational Angels of the North. Also performing are La Voix, Kerry Ellis, The Cheeky Girls, Marcus Collins, Eva Iglesias, Pet Shop Boys Actually, Janice D, Ryan Petitjean and many more.
🌈 A Brand New Parade Route
This year’s Parade will take a new route, beginning on Parliament Street for the first time. The Parade assembles in Parliament Street, at 11.30am, ready to start at 12 noon. It makes its way through the streets of York city centre and along Bishopthorpe Road to the Festival site on the Knavesmire, arriving between 1pm and 1.30pm. Anyone can join in the parade – just turn up on the day!
