York Minster throws its doors open this summer with a season of family fun included in every sightseeing ticket. Kids can get hands on with LEGO® at the Love to LEGO: Build Your Own sessions, no booking needed, just turn up and create anything from rockets to dinosaurs to their own cathedral-inspired designs.

Little Explorer Backpacks are free to borrow from the Welcome Desks, packed with gadgets for adventuring through the medieval Minster, alongside free Quest trails that keep young minds busy as you explore. The Undercroft Museum adds hands-on history, with Roman remains and changing Treasury exhibitions to discover.

Best of all, one adult ticket from £20 includes free entry for up to four children aged 17 and under, valid for a full year. Pre-booking is recommended.
