York Chocolate Festival 2026 is back for five delicious days this Easter, from the team behind York Food Festival.

Wander through Parliament Street and you’ll find a buzzing chocolate market packed with local makers, from beautifully crafted truffles to creative vegan bars and plenty of Easter goodies to take home. There’s loads for families to get stuck into, too. Head to the Activity Marquee for hands-on workshops like chocolate egg making, or catch live demos from expert chocolatiers creating incredible edible showpieces right in front of you.

If you fancy exploring a little further, the ever-popular Chocolate Taste Trail takes you around the city’s independent shops, cafés and hidden corners, with plenty of sweet surprises along the way.
