If you’ve enjoyed York’s Snooks trail, this is your chance to own your favourite! People and businesses from all over the world can bid for the unique sculptures and raise money for St Leonard’s Hospice and York Creates. The Auction takes place on Thursday 9th May 2024 and will be hosted by Derek Matthewson from TV series Bangers and Cash, at York Barbican. It will also be streamed live online, so even if you can’t attend on the night you can still place bids for your favourites (free online auction details coming soon). 

Talented artists have decorated each of the 21 unique four-and-a-half-foot characters to create their own identity and style, and all the Snooks have appeared on the York character trail during March and April.

York Snooks trail has been organised by Make It York with charity partner St Leonard’s Hospice. All 21 Snooks have been generously sponsored by local organisations.
