Head to Newby Hall from Saturday August 26th to Monday August 28th for the miniature steam engine gala. The bank holiday event will celebrate the anniversaries of two of Newby’s engines, The Royal Scot and Countess de Grey miniature engines which are marking 70 and 50 years of passenger service, respectively. Newby will be welcoming two visiting miniature steam engines that will run alongside the Royal Scot across the weekend.

Admission is included in your Gardens ticket, Newby Hall season ticket, and Historic Houses membership. Book a Garden Admission ticket for any of the days and then it’s £3 per ride on the miniature railway. Under 2s are free.
