The historic street of Goodramgate in York will burst into life on June 16th with the vibrant Flowers & Flames Festival, perfectly timed to coincide with Father’s Day. Organised by the Goodramgate Traders’ Association, the festival promises a day packed with thrilling performances, family-friendly activities, and captivating competitions. Free entry!

Activities include:

– Family treasure trail with a great prize

– Processions

– Fiery Face painting

– Raven Morris Dancers at College Green

– Stilt walker

– A fire eating display in the Churchyard of Holy Trinity Goodramgate at 3pm

– Summer window decorating competition for Goodramgate businesses

The Rt. Hon The Lord Mayor of York will declare the festivities open with a proclamation at Monk Bar at 11am and then tour the street to judge the competition
