February Half Term at Murton Park

Get ready for an exciting February Half Term packed with adventure, joy, and a fascinating journey through history!

This February half-term week, immerse yourself in the thrilling world of Norse explorers and discover their incredible stories. Join us for an unforgettable experience filled with craft activities, engaging tales, and opportunities to unleash your inner explorer!

Entry to the park is free for annual pass holders. Small charges apply for some activities (see below).

VIKING TRAIL Daily

Take a Viking trail around the park for £1 per person with an annual pass (includes a prize).

VIKING CRAFTS 10.30am-12pm, daily

Daily 10.30 am-12 pm, Mon-Fri

We’ll give you a rectangle of fabric to create a Viking design. You can then keep it yourself or gift it to us and at the end of the week, we will sew all of the designs together to make a sail for our Long boat! How cool is that?

You will also get the opportunity to make:

  • – A Viking brooch
  • – A Viking spoon person
  • – A Viking rune necklace
  • – A Viking talisman

Crafts cost £2 per person with an annual pass.

VIKING STORYTELLING 2 pm daily, Mon-Fri

Enjoy a Viking story in the Long House at 2 pm daily, Mon-Fri.
