Join Waterstones York this Easter for a lovely mix of stories, crafts and a little bit of bookshop magic.

There’s a daily treasure hunt tucked away in the children’s section, with a secret word to solve and a prize waiting at the tills. You can also drop in for story time every day at 3pm.

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, there’s even more to enjoy, with hands-on craft sessions at 3pm. Expect everything from mask making and Easter baskets to egg decorating and more.

Don’t miss the special story time with children’s author Olivia Mulligan on 8th April at 12pm. She’ll be sharing her charming Reggie books, followed by an activity. It’s ideal for ages 3 to 6, but older children are very welcome too. Spaces are free but need to be booked in advance, either in store or by emailing york@waterstones.com.

All other activities are free, with no booking needed, and suitable for children aged 3+.
