Step back in time and experience the magic of a Victorian Christmas on Kirkgate, York’s famous recreated street at York Castle Museum. From 15 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, enjoy festive decorations, explore Christmas through the centuries in the Period Rooms and discover how celebrations have changed over 200 years. Expect live music, storytelling, crafts, wreath-making and special visits from Father Christmas and Scrooge throughout the festive period.
