When?
3rd to 21st December 2020
Join the Bar Convent for an uplifting festive experience as they celebrate the choirs of Angels and all that they represent this Christmas. Come along to see their display of Angels all individually designed and carrying heartfelt messages from school children, locals and even sent from across the world. You can add your own Angels to a dedicated tree in our beautiful 18th century chapel and discover the 200 Angels that can be found in the art and architecture - if you look close enough!
In the exhibition, they have added some Christmas sparkle with a special Angel trail and chocolate prize and a display of stunning Angels painted by renowned York artist Ronnie Cruwys using gold leaf and semi-precious minerals. Guests can also enjoy seasonal specials in the child-friendly café. The event runs until 21st December 2020.
No booking required. Admission to the Chapel is free. Admission to the exhibition is £5 per adult, £2 per child, £10 family ticket.
