As if there wasn’t enough to look forward to in York during February half term already, here’s something else to squeeze in: Colour and Light at York Art Gallery. This FREE light installation runs from 7th to 25th February 2024 and no booking is needed. Using various animation techniques and styles, the outdoor after-dark projection show illuminates York Art Gallery and it’s spectacular.
It’s another York Bid initiative to brighten up the city during the darker months and we love it. Children love heading out after dark and it’s a great way to see the city without the crowds.

– Free, no booking required
– Viewers are invited to stay as long as they like
