Looking for a mum and baby group in York where YOU matter? Looking to do something fun for yourself where you can bring your baby along too? Wanting to meet like-minded mums and have a giggle? Scared about showing up alone to a class? We've got you: you will become part of our MGM family as soon as you walk in. Mama’s Got Moves is the place for you!

Mama's Got Moves is a baby-wearing dance class in York for all parents/carers (bumps welcome too!). Come along from 8+ week vaginal birth/12+ week C-section until you are comfortable carrying them (suggestion around 20 kilos.)

It’s a 45-minute dance class where you will get to dance to some ’90s/early 00’s pop classics, some dancehall, reggaeton, salsa, bachata and cha-cha-cha. You name it, you will probably dance to it one day! There's 15 mins at the beginning or end to meet other like-minded carers and their little ones too

Mama’s Got Moves is a chance to bond with your baby, connect them to the world of music and dance from a young age, meet other parents, do something for you, have fun, and dance!

You do not need any dance experience to join this class. This class is for anyone and everyone, you will go slow and learn easy routines.

- Baby carriers are available to borrow.

- Older children are welcome to come, dance alongside, or play in the background.

- Bumps are welcome, dancing from the womb!
