Christmas isn’t Christmas (in our house, anyway) without a trip to the pantomime, and we’re really excited about this year’s offering from York Theatre Royal. Not only is it one of the classic fairytales, Cinderella, but the star of the show is Andy Day. Any parent who’s had a baby in the last decade, and therefore spent more time than they’d like with CBeebies on in the background, will be familiar with his dinosaur adventures and other larks. Kids love him, parents are grateful for him and we can’t wait to see him on stage. In this timeless rags to riches story, relocated to our very own city of York, expect magical transformations, sparkling sets, stunning costumes, catchy songs and heaps of hilarity. This brand new pantomime runs from 3rd December 2021 to 2nd January 2022, so we’d recommend booking early to guarantee your seats.
