York Easter Family Festival: Timetable and our top tips!

We’ve already had the family Easter egg hunt with our little vikings because this year, Easter is all about entertaining you and your little vikings at York Easter Family Festival. Come down to the activity tent on Parliament Street (outside M&S – you won’t be able to miss it) that we’re hosting with Visit York and some of our friends from York’s fab attractions for some FREE family fun. It runs from Good Friday to Easter Monday and our top tips and full timetable for our activity area are below.

York EasterTop Tips!

  • Places for the activities will be limited to ensure a safe, fun time for participants so please arrive in good time to avoid disappointment.
  • Parents need to stay in the tent to supervise their children please.
  • There’ll be lots of fun stuff going on all day like face painting, viking crafts, the chance to test your chocolate skills, Punch & Judy and a colouring competition to win a Fenwick voucher
  • Hungry? There’ll be a great selection of street food just beside our activity area.
  • Love chocolate? Visit York Chocolate Festival that’s also happening in Parliament Street this weekend.
  • Crazy for carousels? Don’t miss the fairground rides in St Sampson’s Square
