York Cocoa House is a city centre café, shop and chocolate school. You can pop in and watch the chocolatiers at work, take a break from shopping for a hot chocolate or a chocolate-inspired lunch, or drop into one of the regular workshops. The chocolate lollipop making session, for example, is ideal for little ones.
We say – The Cocoa House should be on every chocoholic’s itinerary, even if it’s just to drop in and breathe in the sweet smelling air or to buy some freshly made chocolates. Because it’s a listed building, the layout is quirky and buggy access can be tricky.
Good to know – The lolly workshops are fun but don’t take long (and you’ll have to hang around to wait for it to set) so bear that in mind when planning your visit.
