They sell a wide range of freshly cut trees of different sizes to suit all budgets – this includes Nordmann Fir, Norway Spruce, Frasier Fir and Potted Trees. The PYO must be booked online as they only have a limited number of slots available – visit the York Christmas Trees website.

Free tree recycling

Did you know that a real Christmas tree bought locally has the lowest carbon footprint? According to the Carbon Trust,  a real Christmas tree has a “much lower” carbon footprint than an artificial tree, particularly if it is disposed of thoughtfully. York Christmas Trees offer a free recycling service for trees returned on the first two Saturdays in January 2021. The trees will be chipped and returned back to the soil on their fields to keep the soil healthy and help the growth of the new seedlings.
