Yoga is the perfect antidote to the stresses of modern life, so now is the perfect time to take it up or keep it going. It strengthens the body, improves flexibility and range of motion whilst clearing the mind and helping relaxation and sleep. It’s all good!
Yoga For Modern Life provides group yoga classes, pregnancy yoga, private yoga sessions on a one to one basis, workshops and retreats in York and surrounding areas. This is friendly and welcoming yoga for everyone – regardless of fitness level, age, shape or size. For experienced yoga practitioner or total beginners – everyone is welcome.
Adapting to the current situation, Susan at Yoga For Modern Life is delighted to be able to offer you her yoga classes and workshops online and live at this strange and stressful time, when social interaction as we know it has to be done differently.
You can join Susan live and in person for all these classes each week, via the simple Zoom app (free and super easy to use). Absolutely NO yoga equipment is required, and everyone is warmly welcome. Take time to reset your system and find some calmness and ease. Staying connected to a supportive community really does make a difference. We need some time to resource ourselves, our bodies, minds and nervous systems, and Susan is very pleased to offer you that.

Calm & Reset – All welcome for a short 30-minute breathwork and relaxation practice – Thursday 6.30 pm
Pregnancy Yoga – For expectant mums – Monday, 6 pm & 7.30 pm
Thursday 7.30 pm
Mum & Baby Postnatal Yoga – For mums and their little ones – Monday 1 pm & Thursday 11 am
Baby Massage – For parents and their babies – Thursday 12.45 pm
Slow Sunday Yoga – Relax and recharge; all welcome – Sunday once a month (22nd March and 26th April), 3 pm to 5 pm
