Anyone whose child is going through a growth spurt can relate to the tale of the ever-ravenous Very Hungry Caterpillar. The classic tale from Eric Carle has been charming kids since it was first published in 1969, and now it’s coming to the stage and will be crawling towards York’s Grand Opera House this summer (Wednesday 7th to Saturday 10th June 2017).
The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show will feature a menagerie of 75 enchanting puppets during a magical hour-long show that faithfully adapts four of Carle’s best-loved books: The Artist who Painted a Blue Horse, Mister Seahorse, The Very Lonely Firefly and the iconic Very Hungry Caterpillar. Catch it at York’s Grand Opera House in June before it flutters off.
