This Easter, the Little Mermaid is swimming to York Theatre Royal from 4th to 7th April 2018. This is a show with a difference: beneath the waves is a world of gender fluidity and fluctuating identities. While the Little Mermaid longs to rise and glimpse the world of man, the Prince longs to escape the rigidity of his world for the unknown depths under the sea. Expect a visually stunning display of acrobatics, cyr wheel, juggling and aerial circus to create this well-loved story as you’ve never seen it. And if you come along to the Little Vikings Show Tent at the York Easter Family Festival on Monday April 2nd, you might even catch some of the cast demonstrating their circus skills! The small print
The competition closes on Friday 30th March 2018 and one winner will be notified at random. The prize is a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children) for the performance on April 7th at 7pm, and no alternative prize will be offered. Good luck!
