Wild Things Family Forest School Holiday Sessions

  • How about a bit of forest school fun in the holidays? When Wild Things Forest School’s term time sessions end, their popular family holiday sessions begin. Each session has a different theme, from bug hunting and campfires to den-building and more. They all promise to be great fun in the outdoors.

    Summer Holiday Sessions 2019

    The summer holidays will soon be here. The regular sessions won’t be running but instead Wild Things are running family sessions (aged 18 months to 11 years) on the following days:

    Wednesday 24th July
    10 – 11.30am – The Great Big Bug Hunt
    1.15 -2.45pm – Fire Starters

    Thursday 25th July
    10 – 11.30am – Campfire Cooking
    1.15 – 2.45pm – Woodland Crafts

    Friday 26th July
    10 – 11.30am – Hapa Zome – otherwise known as leaf bashing!
    1.15 – 2.45pm – Den Building

    Monday 29th July
    10- 11.30am – Fairy Gardens
    1.15-2.30pm – The Great Big Bug Hunt

    There will also be a range of self-exploratory activities to inspire outdoor play and learning and a focused activity for those children that want to learn a new skill, learn something new about nature or be creative.

    An adult carer is needed to stay and join in the fun! All sessions run from Wild Things’ site at Millthorpe School. Prices vary; please check the online booking for individual prices. Booking is essential. For more information contact.
