Wild Things is one of York’s most popular forest schools (multi-Little Vikings Award-winning, in fact), and for obvious reasons they have been unable to run their sessions since lockdown. Due to popular demand, however, they’re excited to announce that children will be able to get their Wild Things fix online from next week. Wild Things will run two live weekly sessions, each with a different theme and with activities that you can do during the session or during the week. The twenty-minute long weekly sessions will take place on Facebook Live at:
– Wednesday afternoon, 2pm
– Friday morning, 10.30 am
Suitable for children aged from 2 to 5 years old, each session will cost £4 (all the money goes to The Supper Collective charity). Older children/siblings are welcome to join, too. Each session will include singing, an activity and a story. The first theme is bees.
Make a campfire cake!
Emma from Wild Things has kindly let us share a couple of videos on the new Little Vikings YouTube channel. Take a look at how to make a campfire orange chocolate cake!
