Mum and Baby Group – Starbucks, Monks Cross – 9.30am onwards – Free/pay for your coffee after the first 30 coffees

The Starbucks at Monks Cross is holding informal get-togethers on Monday mornings from 9.30am for mums (and dads) of small children. The first thirty coffees are free.

Easter crafts galore! There will be eggs for you to decorate and a prize for the best egg. Take part in the EGGSPLORE HUNT to find all the eggs hidden around the library and be in with a chance to win an Easter egg prize. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Easter Bunny Hunt, Stories and CraftsClifton Explore Library – 2.30pm to 3.30pm – £1.50

Take part in an Easter bunny hunt, decorate hard boiled eggs and biscuits, make a mask and an Easter card and listen to some stories. Suitable for 5 to 12 year olds. Bring along a hard boiled egg and join in the fun!

This new venture from York Cocoa House and Hoglets, a York-based theatre company for children, combines chocolatey treats and a chance to relax for parents and a storytelling workshop for the little ones. Delicious.

This is your annual chance to see local artists’ work in their own studios. It’s really interesting, and little budding artists might just be inspired. We’ll be heading to Mark Hearld and Emily Sutton’s studio which is a magical experience (and the pictures really appeal to the children).

The Little Diggers group is a Saturday morning session for 2-5 year olds at DIG. An enthusiastic guide takes the little diggers on an archaeological adventure with a different theme each week. It’s great fun and fantastic value. Booking is essential: call 01904 615 505.
