I don’t know about you, but by Thursday we’re usually flagging a bit and trying not to count down the hours until the weekend. So we were very excited to hear about the new parent and baby morning that’s just started up at York Cocoa House on Thursdays.
They really do seem to have thought of everything. Not only will there be plenty of delicious and much-needed sustenance for worn-out parents (a hot chocolate, tea or coffee and platter of scones, chocolate, toasted sourdough with jams etc) but the grown-ups may actually get a rare chance to eat and chat without interruption as the children enjoy a story-telling workshop. The workshops are hosted by Gemma who runs Hoglets, York-based theatre classes for children. It sounds fantastic. Note to self: no need for breakfast at home on Thursdays. Or, probably, lunch.
