Two of Yorkshire’s most exciting theatre makers have joined forces to bring the Famous Five adventures to life in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the much-loved series. They’ll take the production to literary festivals and back gardens and then to RHS Harlow Carr in Harrogate this summer (including a Famous Five themed picnic party on 11th August – lashings of ginger beer optional). Specialising in theatre where the audience is part of the action, The Famous Five promises to be that rare thing: entertainment that pleases the adults as much as the children, with a nostalgic trip around English countryside, smugglers coves and seaside dens guaranteed.
The Famous Five previews At The Mill in Stillington, a magical garden location, from 26th to 30th April 2017 (7pm with 2pm weekend matinees). Tickets £8.50 – £12.50. It returns to Yorkshire from 10th to 12th & 17th to 19th August (6pm) at RHS Harlow Carr, Harrogate (including a daytime Famous Five themed picnic on the 11th).
