The Deep reopens for fishy fun – What you need to know

The Deep Hull

It’s the news that many of us have been waiting for: The Deep is opening again! We’ve missed our trips to see the penguins and underwater creatures, but we don’t have to wait too much longer before we can see them all again. It’s been a really tough time for the popular Hull aquarium, but they have partnered with a local company to allow them to open their doors again.

How to buy your ticket

The Deep reopens on 27th July 2020, and you will need to pre-book your tickets, even if you have a Day Plus Pass. Visitor numbers will be reduced to ensure social distancing so plan ahead to avoid disappointment. Book your tickets here. As before, your ticket allows you unlimited visits for the following 12 months, which is a total bargain.

What to expect from your visit to The Deep

There will be a number of safety measures in place, like a one-way system and plenty of hand sanitising stations. Social distancing must be maintained and you will need to stay with your group. Dive shows, scheduled feeds and touchpool sessions are suspended for now, and face coverings will need to be worn in the shop. The Halfway cafe will be open, so you can refuel for the rest of your underwater adventure.
