Summer in York: Make your own York Minster

Summer in York: Make your own York Minster York for KidsFancy creating your own York Minster? Of course you do! It’s just one of the weekly family crafts that York Minster is hosting on Wednesdays (10am to 3pm) during the summer holidays (July 22nd & 29th; Aug 5th, 12th & 19th; 2nd Sept; £2.50 per child plus admission fee). Other crafts include creating a crazy kaleidoscope and decorating your own treasure box. While you’re there, borrow a free explorer backpack from the information desk. It’s packed full of activities to make a visit to the Minster more interesting for young children (think magnifying glasses, quizzes and much more).
July 22nd to 2nd September 2015 – free entry for under 16s and York residents (take proof)/£10 for adults – yorkminster.org
