With May bank holiday done and dusted, the summer’s firmly in our sights. Five weeks to fill can be daunting, but stick with Little Vikings and we’ll bring you the best insider info on days out, activities, shows and much more. We’ll be covering summer school too, and we’re kicking off with summer schools from performing arts academy, PQA. Our kids have tried PQA and really enjoyed it, so it comes with the Little Vikings seal of approval that money can’t buy. Lots of fun and activity, and lots of skills to learn too. Here’s what’s on offer.
6-18 year olds can look forward to West End Week. With the help of industry professionals, they’ll get stuck into West End musicals, exploring narrative, learning vocal and dance techniques, rehearsing musical numbers and creating short films. On the final afternoon there’ll be a performance for parents and families.
£125 PQA students / £150 non-PQA students – Monday 8th to Friday 12th August 2016 – 10.00am to 4.00pm
For 3-5 year olds, there’s an exciting three-day Storybook Week. Journey through the deep dark woods, go under the sea, hunt for bears and explore your favourite storybook characters. Children will explore some of the characters from favourite children’s stories, as well as learning songs and dances.
£50 PQA students / £60 non-PQA students – Monday 8th to Wednesday 10th August 2016 – 10.00am to 12.00pm
Both PQA summer schools are held at Huntington School, York. For further details, contact James on 07753 179070, email or book online.
