Guess who’s coming to York this Easter? None other than the Easter Bunny himself! He and his friends will be springing up around the city but can you track them all down? The York BID are launching the ‘York Quest’ AR (augmented reality) mobile app in time for the Easter holidays. The ‘Search for Spring’ trail encourages families into the city to find a series of characters who are hidden around York’s historic streets. Found a character? Well done! Why not take a photo and share it with your friends? The York Quest app is free to use and is available now on Google Play Store or App Store. This app allows family bubbles to safely experience York while maintaining social distancing, in a new and interactive way during Springtime.
The ‘Search for Spring’ will be available from 26th March – 26th April 2021. Users can choose to receive notifications of future trails as they are launched, including a permanent trail featuring iconic characters from York’s history which is currently being developed.
