A very merry Christmas for kids at Barley Hall

Fancy meeting Father Christmas at one of York’s hidden gems? JORVIK’s fabulous medieval townhouse, Barley Hall, will be welcoming Father Christmas this December and you’re cordially invited to meet him. You’ll be greeted by costumed hosts for a festive breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea followed by fun and games, seasonal stories and Christmas crafts. Then keep your eye out for a friendly chap with a big white beard who’ll have a personalised present for each child to take home and put under the tree. Or rip open in the car on the way home. The experience lasts an hour and a half and the price includes a personalised invitation and gift, refreshments and take-home craft item. And as you’ll be in town, combine your visit with a saunter around the twinkly city streets before heading home feeling properly festive.
Father Christmas will be at Barley Hall on 5th & 6th and 12th & 13th December 2015 at 10am, 12.30pm and 3pm – £12.50 per child, one accompanying adult free – book early through the website

PS. You can also meet Father Christmas at the Little Diggers Christmas session for 2 to 5 year olds at DIG (St Saviour’s Church, St. Saviourgate, York YO1 8NN) on Saturday 19th December 2015, 10.30am to 11.30am. There’ll be Christmas stories, activities and an appearance from someone special. It’s just £3.50 per child (one adult free). Call 01904 615505 to book.
